Wood selection
New projects begin with meticulous wood selection. Some are created from rustic fallen logs milled on-site, others use highly figured wood sourced from specialty dealers.
In every case, our goal remains the same: to discover and reveal the story in each piece of wood.
Thoughtful design
All pieces on this site are custom designs, inspired by the character of the wood. Modern and traditional techniques are used hand-in-hand to allow a full range of artistic expression.

Slow craftsmanship
People often notice that some wood products are inviting to hold and smooth to touch. This happens through careful shaping, attention to detail, and a whole lot of sandpaper.
Every step of the woodworking process is given whatever time is needed to be done right.
Finish quality
We use fully natural finishes with zero VOCs. Whenever possible we use products such as food-safe oils, shellac (a resin secreted by the lac bug), and beeswax.
Our products are durable enough for everyday use, and more importantly, safe to use.
